The attendant I dealt with was very friendly and helpful.
First time customer, easy process, friendly and affordable. Location top notch and secure.
It was super easy to just pull up, unload, and leave.
This place fit my storage needs perfectly (one vehicle for one month)
Really great experience moving in to the right unit that fits our needs, thanks to Tom’s help! We are grateful for his excellent customer service and years of experience. The storage area is climate controlled and well lit.
I just wanna take a second and talk about how great Tom is. Tom has been working the front desk at this place since my company started keeping a unit at this location years ago. We often have multiple vehicles in the drive for a prolonged period of time as we load and unload equipment from our unit. Some of our equipment needs set up and torn down as we transport it in the building or put it inside of a vehicle or take out of a vehicle. As long as we are not a burden to other customers, Tom has always given us the space we need to do our jobs timely and efficiently. We really appreciate that. We have had less friendly interactions with the employees of other storage locations that we do business with and with other Public Storage personnel who have had an interest in maintaining a less reasonable, less productive, and less friendly collection of desires. Tom however, recognizes that our time is valuable and that a friendly long term relationship to beneficial for all parties. Thanks Tom.
I went to this Public Storage location twice during their posted office hours, including one time when I was specifically told staff would be there—both times, the office was closed. I was simply trying to update my payment card after my old one was compromised by fraud. Because staff weren’t there, I had to call in and pay over the phone, only to find my bill had jumped from $187 to $220. A few days later, I was told my auto-pay didn’t go through because I hadn’t gone online to set it up—something I was never told I needed to do. I was also never informed that this location was transitioning to self-service. Safety Concern: The last time I was here moving items to my car, there was no staff present on-site. A man I didn’t know approached me in the parking lot asking questions about the property. In this case, he turned out to be harmless—but what if he hadn’t been? Without staff consistently available, customers—especially women—are left vulnerable while accessing their units. Each year, I learn more about protecting myself—yet I feel more unsafe living in this world as a woman. The entitlement, aggressiveness, and outright dismissiveness from men is becoming more blatant and more frightening. When I called Public Storage to explain that the lack of staff was triggering for me, the representative asked, “Why are you saying this to me?” and then hung up. What he didn’t know—because I hadn’t yet told him—was that I’d already had this unsettling parking lot encounter. Women don’t need to be dismissed, judged, or cut off when we express safety concerns. We need to be heard. For these reasons, I will be moving my belongings to another storage facility that values both security and respectful communication. After I raised my concerns about feeling unsafe and being triggered by the lack of staff on-site, both the local office and the 800 number stopped answering my calls. This was not a scheduling or call volume issue — it was a deliberate avoidance of my safety concerns. Ignoring a customer after they’ve voiced a security issue is not only unprofessional, it’s dangerous, and it sends the message that Public Storage would rather avoid accountability than ensure the safety of its tenants. During that parking lot incident, I first saw the man while I was still inside the building and he was outside by the door. I was maneuvering a cart loaded with two large storage cubes and a commercial hot towel warmer (big enough to hold 40–50 towels) toward my car. My priority was to exit the building, shut the door behind me, and get to my car without anything falling — all while staying aware of my surroundings. Despite my confident body posture, no smile, and no invitation for interaction, he approached me anyway. I positioned myself with my back to my car door for safety while unloading. He stood on the other side of my cart, and at one point, he even set his phone and belongings on top of my cart — on my items — to get a phone number from me. None of this was safe. I find it ironic that Public Storage seems upset with me and is charging me more, when I’ve essentially been doing their job — answering questions from strange men about their property and even their broken gate while no staff are on-site. Considering the safety risks, especially as a woman approached by men in the parking lot, it feels like they should be paying me, not the other way around.
Our business keeps a unit here. Tom and his assistant have been extremely helpful and friendly to all of our employees as they enter the site and access our unit and load and unload our business equipment. Tom has been such a big help that we know his name well enough to include it in a review.
