Decided to take my business else where. Older woman that was assisting me virtually through the machine in this locations office was rude, not answering the questions I was asking, and was rushing me to pay. I could have done the same process myself online without having to deal with the rude representative. I am sure this place is a great and secure storage unit but ultimately she was the reason why this public storage lost a customer that day. I believe some trainings need to be implemented for the employees since she did not have answers to any of my questions regarding the insurance, and other inquiries I had. Also some trainings on manners and proper customer service.
I have several issues with this location, and with Public Storage generally - • There are never enough carts. • Bathrooms on every floor are often out of service. • Frequently there is no one manning the office desk during business hours. • During the last month they were supposed to notify their customers who had space on the 3rd and 4th floors that they had to terminate their agreement and move out so that these floors could be renovated. Due to a glitch in their notification system no notification was mailed out or even emailed to the renters. I had to find out about this renovation by a single phone call on a Sunday morning three weeks before the deadline. I was uncertain if the call I received was legitimate since there was no follow up communication either by mail, call or email. • Management has never returned any phone calls left as voice mails (to date there have been three). • The corporate customer service numbers just lead eventually to the site manager’s voice mail who has yet to return any message that has been left for them. • The customer service representatives who manage chat support seem to be outfitted with old customer service protocols. When I used this feature recently they provided me with incorrect options for the phone numbers provided. • Over the four years I rented a unit here, the cost per square foot was consistently increased. By the time I moved out, the monthly rate per square foot exceeded what many local commercial businesses charge for fully air-conditioned, habitable business suites.
Great experience! Jasmin checked me out with help from Charity. Susan checked us in 2 years ago and always helped out. We had 2 units over the past 2 years. But, now bought a house, so we no longer need the units.
Just recently got a storage at this location and I had issues because of a glitch they had in the system. Reniga and Owen, they helped fix the issue so quick and got me my new space. They're customer service was outstanding
Working with Reniga was truly a blessing. She not only eased my anxiety of having to have a storage space, but made the process of securing the unit and explaining everything in detail very simple.
