Clean facility, on a main road for easy access to storage units, convenient carts to move my items, very helpful people to get me started, reasonable prices less than all other storage places, customer concerns taken care of immediately, minimal paperwork, can start and stop any time, was shown the size of the storage unit before I de3cided to use it. safe place to store my valuables. lots of security, great hours available for use.

The Extra Space Storage facility on Glenns Bay Road is simply wonderful. It is clean, safe and secure, there are always carts available, and access to the buildings is so simple if using the app. The staff members are helpful, courteous, and don’t seem to mind answering numerous questions. They clearly want to make certain you are getting exactly what you need. Highly recommend this location!
Jan GMAfrer a grueling week and the loss of my mom, packing up her belongings, I walked into Extra Space Storage because, well, I just need more space! Heather and Jackie at the Glenn's Bay Rd store greeted me as soon as I opened the door. Smiling, friendly and ready to help. Heather asked the necessary questions, then they walked with me to the rental unit. Explained the fees and insurance, etc. She answered every question I had without hesitation. I love when people know their job like the back of their hand. We walked back, went through a five minute contract then Heather walked me through the sign in process and set-up for gate access. We joked, laughed and got everything done in less than a half hr. I'm on my way home relieved of a lot of stress. You've got a great employee! Thank you Heather and Jackie too. See you soon!
S MDO NOT RENT CLIMATE CONTROLLED UNIT FROM THIS FACILITY!! We rented a climate controlled unit to store vehicle and personal contents for six months. Upon return to the unit we found our vehicle inside covered with MOLD and MILDEW, as well as our personal contents. It is obvious that there was not climate control within the unit as mold wouldn’t have formed without the appropriate hot moist conditions. The insurance we purchased through Extra Space denied the claim for interior detailing to remediate the mold because there was no named peril provided by the facility. You’ve been warned, rent at your own risk!!!
Susan MuenchLynn was very helpful and kind to my husband and I today at Extra Space Storage. The location is on Glens Bay Road in Surfside, SC. Lynn was very patient with us and gave us so much information for us to make our decision. we have been with them for years and we now downsizing to a small unit. Lynn helped us with our decision and we will continue with Extra Space. Prices are very reasonable too!
