Registration was online and simple. Customer service was available and answered or resolved questions and any issues quickly. Nice to work with a company that has real and knowledgeable customer service people.
SpareBox appears to have recently taken this facility over. They have spent time and money renovating and painting it and it looks good. Only suggestions would be to pave over ruts where electric lines were run and to move entrance gate a little further away from the road - our travel trailer hangs out in the road while entering gate code.

Had my storage unit for 6 months. In August, I started to remove some boxes, small loads at a time. At that time, my husband and I discovered wet boxes and wet floor in the unit. We removed the boxes that had standing water on them at that time. We have removed everything and started the process of opening every box to check for mold and mildew. We have lost 90% of our soft goods ( pillows, rugs, towels, quilts, blankets). All framed pictures were molded on the back where the paper is. They had to be thrown in the trash. What a total disappointment. This was unit 16. Never again using this type of storage.

Raised the rent three timwes the first year. Gate broke multiple times, parking lot has more potholes than any road in Horry County. Now, after not being a customer for over 2 1/2 years, they claim I owe a month of rent. Address and phone number are the same, they never contacted me. Poor business practices all the way around. Would NOT recommend.
Xan is amazing. She was great trying to fix where the company messed up and said I was late making my payment. At first it didn't say I'd even made my payment for October when I certainly had!! While I am frustrated with the company I feel Xan was remarkable,courteous and professional in trying to assist me. She said she'd make a notation to those who handle the billing. Because it was through no fault of mine,she apologized for the mistakes made prior...She is a real asset to your company!! I'd give her 5 stars.
Kimberly was polite, and she was fast at what I needed. I would most definitely rent from them again.
