Great unit and service
We were greeted by a courteous and professional employee. (Jacob)? He showed us our unit which was clean and ready to go. He then walked us through the sign up process and explained everything to us. Well cared for facility. Excellent service and staff.
This was the first time we had ever...
This was the first time we had ever rented a storage unit. Brian made it very easy, he explained how the system worked, showed us around and answered all our questions. He gave us his card and said we could call him anytime.
Someone Something
Some of the units are infested with rats. And we encountered a live rat (Apr. 26) while trying to move out of our storage unit. It was alive and trying to walk towards us. We notified the front desk next day, since they were closed previously. And he said he "Had already checked that unit building today and there were no rats." Okay. Only to find next day we go to finish getting more stuff from our unit and the RAT IS STILL THERE, NOW DEAD. Is it so difficult to not lie?? This is a rabies risk. The behavior of the rat was also odd in line with rabies. A few of my boxes were ate through probably from other rats. No, there was no food, but I guess the rats like some of the insulation and cardboard for bedding. I have additional videos and photos as evidence. Uploaded video proves its the correct location.
M5N3SSCustomer service was great. Abigail is wonderful and answered my many questions. 4 stars because I wasn't able to finish purchasing my unit online or with the app which forced me to continue in person. However, I got to speak with Abigail and everything went smoothly after that. I was even able to finish my account online and eventually log into the app, allowing my future payments can be controlled online.
Tre LyonsMike was super helpful and accommodating. He turned super stressful situation into a stress reliving situation. I accidentally rented an inside unit when I ment to rent an outside unit and was too busy to fix it right away. Mike gave me a courtesy call to check in and I explained my issue and he fixed it within minutes of me arriving to the office.
HaileyAbigail was quick and helpful to figure out how to upgrade my unit. She told me all the information I needed to get started on moving my stuff to a bigger one as well as a happy attitude and cheery jokes!
Doug WI CAN NOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH, ☆DO NOT STORE ANYTHING HERE!☆ Absolutely the worst place you could store. The manager is rarely there. If you want to make a payment you will have to go to another location. They have an infestation of rats throughout all of the indoor, "temperature controlled" units. The outdoor tenants also have to deal with the same issue. We found that they were chewing through the insulation in the ceiling and dropping in getting stuck. We had to wipe down everything we could save with bleach water and lost most of the furniture and almost all of the clothes that was stored in there. Things that were inherited from family 80+ years ago and are irreplaceable are completely ruined. But don't worry, if its not the rats and maggots in your unit, someone will come by and drill out your locks. Both units on each side were destroyed as we moved our stuff out and found parts of a drilled cylinder in our unit from the neighbors. As for the temperature control, they leave the air conditioning unit on into the fall and winter so moisture builds up in the units. We had a thermometer in our unit that keeps the max high and low temperature readings. 40 degrees to 110 seems pretty controlled. Absolutely will NOT use a public storage again.
