They deserve 0 stars. First they will literally blow up your phone for no reason. I have never had a late payment and even when the unit my husband had in his name was on auto pay they annoyed you by calling to remind you of your upcoming payment. I have a unit in my name but my husband pays for it and our insurance is in my husband's name. We opted out of their insurance because you can literally get outside insurance for half what they charge. My husband and I both spoke to Russ and emailed him our new insurance plan and Russ on numerous occasions said it was sufficient. I paid my monthly bill over the phone with Russ minus the insurance because I had my own and again Russ said this was good. On the day my bill was due Spencer called me urgently needing me to call him back so I did. He informed me my insurance information was not sufficient enough and he needed more information and me to physically go in and sign paperwork. He went ahead and tried to do an unauthorized payment for the insurance on my husband's credit card. Funny that it all needs to be in my name but he was charging it on a credit card in my husbands name! I found information online showing they are very aggressive about using their own insurance. My husband called and we will pay them for this month for everything including their insurance but that is the last dime Cube Smart will ever see from me or my husband. Russ is incompetent and its all a reflection on the type of manager running this place which would be Spencer. Have the day you deserve. No need to respond to this review I just want the public to know the incompetence and shadiness of using unauthorized payments you do at this place of business.

BEWARE! a year ago I stored my items there. they were nice and all of course to get my business. during some recent financial struggle's my rent was late. not only did they charge me late fees but they raised my rent $20 per month each time I was late. I begged them to change my due date to later in the day on the 3rd bc my disability check does not go in my account at 12:01 am. but they refused. they've now changed my due date to the 2nd. which means my payment will never be there and my rent will continue to increase. if they would change my due date to the 4th or STOP trying to pull it at 12:01 am, my rent would never be late. now Im probably going to lose my things bc my rent began at $45 and is now $76. I did talk them into cutting the increase the first time. how does it make sense that they can change my due date to make it harder on me than to change to make it easier on me. trust me, they don't care about you! I wish I had rented from someone else. They can raise your rent and change you payment due date per their convenience. All about the money. Facts!

This is the 4th time I've used Cube Smart. The units and property are always clean. Staff is always helpful and the price is reasonable.
