The process of renting a unit online was fairly simple, and we were able to have a discount for the first month. It ended up being right under $50, and for a 10x10 unit with included insurance on their behalf, runs around $93 total. The 10x10 unit is also inside of the building so I trust that more so than an outside unit. I feel that the cost isn't too expensive, but it would be nice if it was a bit cheaper, or if they had more discounts every so often.

If I could give them zero stars… I would. Please do yourself a favor and stay FAR, FAR away from this storage facility. We had an absolutely horrible experience with the unit itself. We are now in an even worse situation dealing with their management after emptying our unit and found it was infested with roaches and mice. We had things covered in mouse pee and poop and roaches absolutely everywhere. They “provide” pest control, but only inside the unit if requested… of course we never even knew that was an option until after we left. Their insurance that they force you to pay for every single month only would cover $500 or our $8,000+ damages/losses. An absolute insult. They are heartless, and neglectful and should be help accountable for the conditions of their units that I paid good money for. If I could give them zero stars, I would. My son needed storage for his stuff when he went off to college and Becca and Trinity took care of him. They gave him a great deal and were very friendly. The property was clean and easy to access. We shopped around at a few different places but the Prime in Shallotte was the best we saw. Thanks for everything, we will be Prime customers for life!

This place is really nice and it has good prices for the unit I have . Very spacious and the way the floor is designed if the stuff is to heavy it’s easy to sliced it in the unit. They also give u a deal for first month . I think you would be very pleased

We’ve used Prime Storage in Shallotte, NC several times and have always been impressed with the cleanliness of the property and units. In addition, we store a travel trailer and the site provided is more than enough space to park and avoid external damage. Most importantly, the site manager Becca is the epitome of professionalism and customer service. She’s been on site for several years and always available to meet and discuss customer needs!!!
