Was told at sign on that my unit would be $50 for the first month. Rented the unit on 9/26/25 and paid the $50 upfront. was then billed on 10/6/25 for $129. So much for a half off first month

Avoid these guys at all costs. My mother joined on July 22 with some leftovers from a house downsize. We signed a contract. A few months later we discovered that they jacked the price up in violation of the contract by more than a hundred dollars without telling any of us. The date for the price hike? July 22, hours after signing the contract with us. In our experience they are not an honest company.

The service rep was delightful, very professional. She gave all necessary information for using the storage area and answered all of my questions. I was able to go to the storage cube to visualize what I would need. Prices were reasonable. I'm glad I chose Spare cube.

First let me say, I never in a million years thought that I would be renting space for as long as I have. Over two decades. The owners have changed. Management has changed. But the one thing that didn't change was the Customer Service. Why? Shaun who manages the office. I met her several years ago, but have had the pleasure of speaking with her on numerous occasions during the last few years. She has always been so generously kind. Professional. Easy to talk with. Efficient. And always helpful in every way. In so many ways, she has gone out of her way to make my experience at Spare Cube the best it could have been. I have now moved out of my unit and away from New York. I cannot recommend Spare Cube more highly. 5 Stars!
