Signing up for a rental storage unit was easy but moving out was a terrible experience. I had to call 5 times to tell them I had vacated the unit. Each time I was told I would be emailed a document stating that I had vacated the unit, but this was not done. I took photos of the vacated and cleaned unit as proof of the date it was empty. Two months later I received a notice that my account was overdue. Called and was sent a vacated notice with a date that was over a month from the date I actually vacated the unit and first notified them. Luckily one of the staff had deleted my automatic payment information from the computer the 3rd time I called so they couldn't charge me for another month's rent. They really need to be on top of when someone vacates a unit.

Steve was great through the entire process of renting a storage unit. He explained various sizes and availability, and basically how the rental policy worked from a payment & timing standpoint. When I came back the next day , he quickly went through the necessary paperwork and walked me down to the unit, took off their lock, displayed the "clean condition" of the unit and directed me to put my lock on. I don't think the whole process took 15 minutes, and there was never a hard sell. I got exactly what I needed!

I have reached out multiple times over the last 4 years regarding the 'motion sensing' lights not working at night, yet they still haven't been fixed. Very inconvenient to use my car headlights.

We are thoroughly impressed with A Metro Self Storage's efficiency, professionalism, and friendliness of the staff which has made our storage experience hassle-free. Facility is well maintained, secure, and rates are reasonable for both their climate controlled and non-climate controlled storage units.
