Alyssa is hands down the best general manager I’ve ever dealt with. From day one, she has been incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional. She took the time to explain everything clearly and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. What I appreciate most is that she truly enforces the rules and runs a tight ship. Because of that, I genuinely feel safe storing my belongings there. On top of that, she just has such a positive energy, she really brightens my day every time I see her. If you’re looking for a storage facility where your belongings will be secure and you’ll be treated with respect, this is the place. Alyssa is a true asset to this company.

Central Islip location-I had my stuff in storage literally for 4 months, and I came back one day and had an extreme amount of mold on my sofa and the pillows. Local management said they couldn’t do anything about it because the insurance that you have to have doesn’t cover mold smh. not sure what a “temperature controlled” facility is good for if you don’t have a Dehumidifier if you know your building is prone to mold. Thankfully very little of the rest of my clothing items had mold on it. A few sneakers that I had to throw away, which wasn’t that big deal but a brand new couch. It’s annoying. And the most annoying part is the local store manager made it seem like this happens often and she knows that they don’t do anything about the mold issue. I ended up writing a letter to the company and the district management got back to me fairly quickly. Although he wasn’t able to do much , at least he wasn’t as crass as the store manager. They still couldn’t cover anything but the district manager was nice and helpful when reaching out, so I have to say thank you to him because he was actually willing to help me.

Prime storage is very clean, well lit and, and has ample carts to help move your things in and out with ease. Alyssa in the office was very friendly, helpful and answered all our questions. Would definitely recommend if your looking for a storage facility!!!

Today, the manager called me, speaking down to me. I am a new customer and haven't even moved my stuff in yet. She got upset because we left our moving truck there overnight because it was past gate hours. She got upset because she stated that the way the truck was parked there wasn't enough space for other customers to park. Where the truck parked because of the snow, there were spots for customers to come in and out, as well as park. Meanwhile, when I joined, this was the same manager who was so sweet and trying to welcome me to PRIME STORAGE. How could a manager show that she is very moody right from the start? If I hadn't paid to open my storage, I would look for a different place to put my belongings. That's how horrible she made me feel by speaking down to me.
