I had a good experience overall with Prime Storage at the 1653 Central Ave location. The manager Jamel was always prompt with responses and very helpful whenever I needed assistance, which I truly appreciated. The facility was consistently clean, well-kept, and felt secure. Unfortunately, my unit price increased over time and I had to move out because it became unaffordable for me. Aside from the pricing, everything else about the facility and customer service was positive. I would still recommend this location to others, especially for short-term storage.
Debby KoobairAfter signing up, I came to the storage at 4:45 on a Friday. No one was in the office. I called the number listed. I was speaking to a machine not a live person. I went into the storage and when I came out, I couldn’t get out of the gate. I waited for one hour until someone came by to enter then I slide out when the gate was open. You have to tell customers that the exit is on the other side.
Daniel BoweWe are sitting outside of the building. We were sent a unit number and a code THAT THEY CHARGED US FOR ALREADY! With all that, they don't have a record of us purchasing a unit. No record of us despite emails, despite unit number, despite being charged! Follow up: they tried to make my daughter rent a new unit but then when they heard me saying it's ridiculous and we will just go somewhere else, oh they were looking at the wrong address, (even though she asked them that. Very clean nice facility so now up to 4 stars.
Emily SMy rental price increased quite a bit after two months of renting which wasn’t ideal. There also was a ton of mouse droppings in my unit. No one I spoke to seemed to care at all so this must be a common issue. I had to leave because of the mouse dropping all over my belongings and was still charged an early termination fee on my way out. I called the corporate number and no one ever reached back out. I really wasn’t happy with the customer service here.
