I had an outstanding experience at the Public Storage in Brighton, thanks especially to Paris. From the moment I walked in, Paris made everything smooth, clear, and stress‑free. She was incredibly kind, patient, and genuinely committed to helping me get everything sorted out. Paris took the time to walk me through my updated terms, assist me with my bill, and make sure I fully understood every detail. Her reassurance and professionalism made a huge difference, especially during a moment when I really needed support. It’s rare to find someone who combines knowledge, compassion, and real customer care the way she does. The entire team was accommodating, but Paris truly went above and beyond. I’m grateful for her help and highly recommend this location because of the exceptional service she provided.
This review addresses ongoing accessibility, safety, and maintenance issues that remain unresolved despite repeated notice. Public Storage publicly states that it is “committed to ensuring accessibility to individuals with disabilities” and to complying with applicable laws and regulations. At this location, that commitment is not being met. After entering the gated property, there is a set of interior double doors intended to open automatically. These doors do not function. I am a disabled veteran and cannot reliably open them independently, which directly conflicts with Public Storage’s stated accessibility commitment and with ADA requirements that accessible features be maintained in operable working condition. I was told approximately three weeks ago that the doors would be repaired. When I followed up on January 18, the delay was attributed to “the holidays.” Regardless of the reason, Public Storage’s own policies require compliance with the law, and extended inoperability of an accessibility feature is not acceptable. No reasonable alternative accommodation has been offered. Additionally, the restrooms at this facility are locked at all times, with no staff available to unlock them during normal operating hours. Public Storage advertises staffed facilities and customer service during operating hours. Denying restroom access entirely is a management decision that contradicts reasonable customer expectations and standard operating practices. I was also informed that restroom access was restricted due to misuse concerns. That explanation does not relieve the company of its responsibility to provide basic services during open hours. Finally, the parking lot was neither pre-treated nor properly cleared following a known snowstorm. This created unsafe and inaccessible conditions, particularly for customers with disabilities. Nearby storage facilities in the same area were properly maintained, showing this was not a citywide issue but a location-specific failure. These issues were communicated directly to Public Storage in advance. I have also informed them that I will be following up with the City of Boston and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts regarding ADA accessibility and safety compliance. This review reflects documented conditions and Public Storage’s failure to meet both federal accessibility requirements and its own stated policies and standards.
Paris is the best ever! So very grateful for her impeccable customer service. I had unique needs and she took her time to assist me going over and beyond for me. I appreciate all Paris did for me. Public Storage is blessed to count Paris amongst its team members.
Paris is super super helpful. I came right when she was clocking out but instead of shutting me out, she still spent a few minutes to show me the space. She patiently assisted me and got me to rent the right space I needed. Thanks!
I used this place for the first time a couple days ago… it was very easy to book online and my unit was ready within a couple of hours. At first, it was slightly confusing with the codes in the elevator area, but luckily the attendant Paris was my personal ANGEL🪽 and helped me out. I would’ve been very lost without her!
