Customer service representative at the front desk in Abingdon JOHN was friendly, inviting professional, funny, efficient, helpful, and kind… I have never had this kind of experience with the storage company before… Thank you so very much. Through no fault of theirs I misplaced my gate access code. While Charlotte was helpful however for the code never appeared via text msg noe email. After the third attempt with a gentleman I asked if the access code could be given to me over the phone. I explained that method was tried and he was my third attempt. Informed that he would try sending via email and text. At this point I gave up. I replied to an email previously sent to me and asked if they could reply back using that message since at least it worked before. Yeaaaa, I am now the proud owner of the gate access code. You have the information to identify who we are, can you update the process, please?

Snapbox Storage price gouges. I moved my items in during the summer of 2023. Starting out at 110 for a indoor 10x10 climate controlled unit. By the end of December 2024 my rate was 175. And this month February 2026 my rate went to 304. Same unit, no changes in anything. When I questioned the constant increases and no notification I was told we are just competing with all the other Storage places in the area and keeping our rates consistent with theirs. Today I moved out, 7 days before the end of the month, moved to another place 2.5 miles away, exactly the same size unit 10x10, indoors climate control for 96 bucks a month! Guaranteed not to increase more than 15 dollars a year. So im not sure who they are competing with to keep their rates consistent with. The place across from them literally you can see it from their parking lot is 110 a month for same 10x10. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM- IF YOUR IN THIS PLACE MOVE OUT- SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE! Even the new guy at the desk who just started last week told me hes had lots of people moving out. And they wouldn't refund my last 6 days that my unit is empty!

Dont be fooled by the low introductory rate. They all do it, but with Snapbox that will not last long. My 10x10 unit started at $88 a month, months later it was $187. They claim they were kind enough to inform me of the increase to match the local market rate. Shop around otherwise be inconvenienced by having to move after their ridiculous rate hike.
