I thought I was speaking to the local nearby location when I called the number posted on a FB ad. The person I talked with said they had one 10x10 climate controlled unit left and that it would hold 3 rooms of furniture. She said that they could hold that unit with the information on my credit card but that no money transaction would be done until I completed the paperwork in person. When I went to the location the following day I was told that I had spoken with a person from a call center AND that my account had indeed been debted before midnight on the day I called. I was shown a 10x10 unit and it would not have held 2 let alone 3 rooms of furniture ! I requested a refund be posted to my debt account. The manager was agreeable but said that the process would have to be initiated by her supervisor and she typed an email to the supervisor with me present.She said that I should see the deducted amount added back into my account approximately 5 days from her email. The manager said that I should contact her on the 6 day if there was no resolution. I would not recommend this company. It is a chain operating from remote locations with call center employees untrained and evidently encouraged to get banking info just to "hold" a unit and go ahead and debt the account. They went against the verbal agreement we had , gave me false information & "stole" from me. The local manager was amiable and professional! She gets the star on the rating scale.

Only reason i chose this storage is cause it was close and I was trying to get way from a domestic abuse relationship as quick as i could. Not even 3 weeks of my stuff being there. My storage was broken in and mostly shoes purses and clothes where stole. They claim multiple other units where broken into but no police report was ever made. The gate is Never shut but there is claims of a Serial Bugular who frequents this place. When I called to make the insurance claim the adjuster told me that they have not been contacted at all about the incident that that supposedly has been going on for months now. I was never informed that criminal activity was even going on here. After further investigation it was revealed that no police report had been made here since 2016. An that was not even for burglary or thief of any sort. Only reason they got 1 star was to make this review. They are also running a tow company in the back where a tow truck is hiding ppls cars. I only seen one camera pointed at the door of the place. Do Not store you things here unless you want your things ransacked. The insurance only goes up to $5000 and the want a $500 deductible for that Lol. They will be hearing from my lawyer very soon and I’m doing all I can to start a criminal investigation on this janky promotion.

This place let my concession bbq trailer get Stolen!!!!! Kept taking my payments never alerted me to the problem or Any other problem that they were having no email not a call and had All of my information!!!!!And they are saying they are not responsible for my missing 8.5x 18 ft trailer how crazy is that and can't even tell me how long it's been gone or anything and the Whole lot is on camera and everything should be recorded plus you need a gate code to get in and out of this place!!!!!!!!!PSA don't take your things that u care about there!

Terrible! Hard to get in contact with the mitthoefer location specifically. No one wants to do their job in there and the storage units aren't anything special to be so over-priced. Plenty of better choices in the nearby area.
