It was an easy transition. Kelly was great! Just so you know. You'll need to purchase a lock from Public which is good at any Public location & you have to cary insurance. Extra expenses that I wasn't expecting.

I want to call out Antoinette who works at this location! My wife and I lost our storage keys and she was extremely prompt and quick to help us! We called one day, she met us the next day to get a lock cut setup, and was very personable. She is a highly professional leader!
I have had a unit with Public Storage at this site in Rolling Meadows, IL for the past few years. It is for a loved one's belongings that mean a great deal to me. This site is always so understanding and very responsive. In particular, Antoinette has been absolutely wonderful this week! She is very professional, respectful, kind and communicates well. Antoinette is reliable, as she follows up when she says she will! What a gem employee to have! I will stay with them for as long as I am able. Thanks so much Antoinette for your help. Lucy helped me beyond my expextarions. Helped me to do my rental regardless of me not being able to finished it over call. She waited for me and gave me all her individual attention . Great customer service! Reccomended..

UPDATE: after posting on social media and emailing every email address for Public Storage that I could find, I finally received a call from a representative (NOT someone from this location, by the way. They have yet to respond to me). We had to beg and plead to get moved to a different storage unit until we find another location that doesn’t have leaks, this one outside and not indoors/climate controlled like our original one. When I inquired about receiving a refund or credit towards future months because of this happening to us, we were only offered one free month. The damage alone done to my property was over $1,000, not including the sentimental family heirlooms that I will NEVER get back that mean more to me than anything. Absolutely horrible customer service and business management. If I could rate this zero, I would. We are currently renting a 10x20 inside, climate-controlled unit from this location. I happened to randomly check on the unit yesterday, thankfully, only to discover that there is a leak in the ceiling inside my unit. Many items were damaged, including irreplaceable, hand-written cookbooks and other family heirlooms and furniture that can never be replaced. I went into the office to report what happened, only to be handed a brochure to file an insurance claim. No mention of moving us to a new storage unit that wasn’t moldy or anything. Today, my husband went and there was nobody inside of the office to help working. We have called 5 different “customer service” numbers to try and get a hold of someone. Because of the moisture in the unit, my items are becoming moldy and mildewy as we speak. I have been trying to get a hold of someone to move us to a new, dry unit, but no one has returned any of my correspondence, including social media messages, phone calls, emails, and in-person visits. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE!!!
