Great prices and specials on units
Upon my arrival I expected to have an excellent experience. I received several reminder emails along with a phone call to ensure my check in would be ran smoothly. Honesty speaking checking in for my unit rental was in fact a breeze however, the customer service I received from the store manager was very unpleasant. Absolutely no personality, no smile, no engagement, and no happiness, just plain old blah. In fact I asked her was she a morning person because I didn't know whether she woke up on the wrong side of the bed or if that was just how she greeted and interacted with her customers. The gentleman working beside her seemed more happy to help me than her. Which in my opinion should have been the other way around if she was the store manager. Kudos to her employee for being more willing to help me and was much more pleasant than her. Because had he not this store location would have lost my business as well as had a bad word of mouth experience from me.
I rented my space on 12/13/2013, and when I came back to store my belongings the stuff forgot to remove the lock Life-Storage places on for there sircuity purpose. This set me back and I was not able to move all my items in that one day with should have only taken me, for my truck rental was on a time schedule. My one day move became a three day move do to the stuff not removing the lock before leaving the facility which was open 9am-6pm on that day. I arrived at 2pm that day, causing me to wait 2 hours for her to return back at the facility. This mistake coast me more money because my one day move at that time became a three day move. Very dissatisfie!!!!!!!

I recently moved to Extra Space Storage, drawn by a competitive price that I wasn't informed was promotional. Although the large units were unavailable upon my arrival, I accepted two smaller units instead. However, only three months into my stay, I received a "rate change notice." When I contacted the office, I was immediately asked if I had read my lease. As a sales professional, I find it unacceptable to let a client sign an agreement without highlighting such critical terms. My previous storage provider only increased rates annually during management changes, and I went four years without a single hike. Had I known that Extra Space Storage adjusts rates at their discretion so early in the contract, I never would have signed. While the manager was pleasant and the customer service has been good, I find the practice of omitting this information during the sales process to be deceitful. If you are signing your lease electronically, please proceed with caution. Take your time to read every detail and ask questions before finalizing. It is essential to ensure you are having an honest conversation and fully understand the terms to avoid costly surprises later.

Taylor MillerThis place is absolutely disgusting. I moved in a few items in April 2025 and smelled urine after adding items into my unit. They had an open hole in the ceiling above my unit and never fixed it the year I was there. I moved out due to raising the rates, but not fixing the ceiling or proper pest control. Nice chewed through a few of my items and you smell urine around the facilities. There are also NO trash cans or dumpsters ANYWHERE. Don't waste your money here, go to somewhere better with the bare minimum amenities.

Anthony CantoreRun... Don't walk from this place!! This company is so creative on charging hidden fees for everything. I am a school bus driver and was laid off for the summer and fell behind now I am being charged late fees and a foreclosure fee and I offered to bring my account current. I will be moving out of here as soon as possible and NEVER doing business with Extra Space Storage AGAIN!!
