Definitely a one star (or lower) type of service. The employees are nice, but the overall leadership and verbiage on the website is absolutely misleading. At first, I thought I was having a great experience compared to the rest of the companies I called. My initial reservation was very smooth, she answered most of my questions, and said that the other questions I had could/should be answered at the location I was reserved at. I set my reservation up on a Sunday (the location was closed), and she said Monday morning I should be able to get the answers to my questions. So, I stop up at the location Monday afternoon, and the store was closed with a sign saying that there was an emergency closing, and they were closed for the day. As I’m understanding of last minute emergencies, I still needed my questions answered, as I was on a time crunch to get things moved into storage. So, I took advantage of the online option to setup my lease agreement and gain access to my storage unit, as I needed to start moving things immediately. So I began moving my things into storage. No big deal. Now, today is Tuesday. The facility is finally open. I go into the facility, awaiting for my questions to be answered that the customer representative couldn’t answer. I asked, are there any rental trucks available today, or possibly some time this week? Both of the employees looked at me with confusion. I said, on the website it says rental trucks are subject to availability? Are there any trucks available at all this week? They said, no, we don’t do that. Me being confused, I said, it literally says it on the website? What do you mean you all don’t do that? They said, not all locations have trucks available. I said, ok cool, can you all check any nearby locations that have them available so I can use them? They said, we don’t believe any of our locations have them anywhere within a 20 mile radius. I then realized that this experience has turned into a nightmare, a misleading nightmare. Mind you, I’ve already moved a lot of my things into the storage unit. So now I’m waiting for the district manager to call me, and I’ve reported to corporate that the information online is VERY misleading, and the lack of communication is very disappointing and distasteful on both customer service and at the locations. Great costumer service, from opening the door for us to showing us multiple units and offering great suggestions, explaining all the details of the contract and offering the use of translator in case of any language barriers. Thank you Brandon and Tia you guys were great!
