Last month, I complained to a man about my storage unit, which looked like a rodent had been roosting in the ceiling. There was white stuff on my things, and the smell of mold was strong. The man told me that he was not in charge of the maintenance of the units, that I would have to speak to the insurance company that insures the units. My wife was forced to settle for just $500 through their insurance policy after we suffered approximately $4,000 in losses due to a severe rodent infestation. This was not even close to fair compensation for the damage caused by their lack of proper maintenance. To make matters worse, they pressured her into signing a document that prevents her from discussing the issue publicly—a clear attempt to silence customers who have been wronged. The issues with this facility go far beyond the reimbursement: No On-Site Office or Staff: There’s no one available to assist customers. When you move out, you’re required to take photos of your empty unit because they don’t bother to send anyone to inspect it. Poor Maintenance: From the start, the unit was dirty. I swept it out myself when we first rented it, thinking it was standard, but now I realize this was a sign of their neglect. Humidity and Structural Neglect: The unit showed clear signs of humidity, which I initially assumed was due to bad weather, but it points to a larger maintenance issue. Pest Infestation: The rodent problem could have been avoided if proper pest control measures were in place. Instead, our belongings were destroyed, and the facility failed to take responsibility for their negligence. This is not a professionally run business. The lack of accountability, maintenance, and customer care is shocking. They silenced my wife to protect their reputation instead of addressing the core issues that caused this situation. If you value your belongings and your peace of mind, stay far away from this facility.

My son and I rented a storage unit while he was in between apartments at college. On August 19th we gave notice for the unit letting them know it was vacant. They required a phone call to confirm it, which my son did. Then September 19th I received another bill, which I informed them we already gave notice the prior month. The lady on the phone assured me she’d get it taken care of and show it as moved out. Now they are trying to charge me for another month after I have been out for two months and given notice twice. The unit was also filled with black mold and the ceiling was caving in. We had to put tarps over everything to make sure his stuff wasn’t ruined. We only used the unit for 10 days total then gave notice, and they are trying to charge us for three months. Do not ever use any facility managed by these people. They are crooks.
