I had a great experience at Extra Space Storage thanks to Cesar. He was friendly, professional, and extremely helpful throughout the whole process. Excellent customer service and I highly recommend storing here.
Frank DI switched storage units in August because my previous company kept raising their prices every month. At Extra Space Storage, I was promised that if I paid 4 months upfront, my rate would stay at $157 per month with no increase for at least one year. They also told me that if the rate ever increased, they would reset it back to the original price. After only 4 months, I received a notice saying my rate was jumping from $157 to $253.26 — that’s a 61% increase. When I went back to talk to the manager, he denied half of what he originally said. The online rate is still showing around $160, but the best he offered me (verbally) was $200, and of course nothing has been applied to my account. All talk, zero action. How are we supposed to trust that? I even asked: “What if I take the online offer again?” He replied: “Then you’ll have to move all your stuff to another unit.” So basically: great introductory prices, then massive rate hikes, and no honesty when you question it. Very misleading business practices. I do not recommend this place.
