It was handled very professional, from registration to move in. Facility-Security is very good. Building and Storage-Area looks very clean. I recommended the place already to my friends.
Just moved in
This place is a little out of the way for me, but the intro price was good. I was informed that the price starts to increase in 7 mos. and again in 12 mos. I hope to be able to reduce my stuff and move to a smaller unit before the cost gets too high. In the meantime, it's a very safe place to store things.

I have used storage for a long time and extra space is one of the best places. Everyone increases your rate. At this extra space they just seem to care more, and I like how I can negotiate my rate and you guys work with me. This place is the cleanest facility I have ever used, it’s immaculate. Kudos to the manager he is super easy to work with.
Venice AlvarezThis is hands down the worst storage facility I have ever dealt with. They constantly raise your rent! Not once, not reasonably, but over and over again within the same year. The increases are huge, and they don’t clearly communicate them. At one point, I was even told that if I left a positive review, I could keep my current rate temporarily until they raised it again, which says everything you need to know about how this place operates. I paid extra for a climate-controlled unit specifically to protect my belongings, yet when I moved out after roughly two years, multiple pieces of furniture had water damage and were completely warped and ruined. To make matters worse, there were LIVE roaches and droppings inside my boxes. Paying premium prices only to have your belongings destroyed and contaminated is unacceptable. This facility is overpriced, poorly maintained, and dishonest in how they handle customers. If you care about your belongings or your money, I strongly recommend choosing literally any other storage option.
SARA VERSEI do not recommend this place. I’ve moved out after 5 years as they will increase your rate up to 60% after 6 months. The manager, Preston, it’s rude, unprofessional and will lie about telling you that they sent you a letter about the increase that I never received. I had this problem for the last 2 years since they changed the manager. I’ve picked up all my stuff and left to another place.
Janet SI have lived in different cities over the years and have had the need for storage at different times. This is definitely my best experience. The Extra Space Storage at 1016 N. Belcher Road is very clean and bright, in an easily accessible, nice location, has always had carts available (an issue in other facilities) and has the feel of being professional and cared for. This is a reflection of excellent management and staffing. Whenever I’ve had an interaction with Preston I have been treated kindly and as a valued customer. When a company “gets things right” I feel important to acknowledge it, and that’s certainly the case here.
