For 16 years I've used Tehachapi Cherry Lane You Stuff It Storage & everything has been fine. I have my payments automatically taken from my checking account every month without any trouble for years. Now last month I get my phone number & my SS number sold on the Dark Web. Then I get a text on my phone from some unknown number that my payment is 7 days overdue & to click on the link & send money. I'm not stupid enough to click on any link on anything especially now. I called the Cherry Lane Office 8 times in several days at different hours & only get the answer machine. I left messeges each time with no return call. Then I get another text saying I'm 15 days overdue. No I'm NOT they are 15 days late processing my contracted payment. I never received any notice that anyone else is handling the account or any changes is being made. Only these two text. I have never made my payment online & don't have an online account in 16 years. I have mailed my Nov 2025 pmt & even my Dec 2025 pmt to the Cherry Lane post office box & contacted an attorney. All further payment will also be sent to the post office box. Who ever is suppose to now be handling the accounts now at the Cherry Lane office is failing severly & odviously has never even been in the office or they would have gotten my messeges & known that they have to manually process my auto dedection from my checking account & if they knew their business they would know that I have a signed contract for auto-deduction & they would have to re-nogociate a new contract. I guess we will meet in court before this is over. All the open & closed info online everywhere is wrong. It's closed, office is closed, no one is there or answering the phone

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE! When you go to move out they will not acknowledge your request and proceed to ghost you. I moved out on November 7th after renting since 2021 the price was raised every year. The manager is never available, and corporate seemed helpful but nothing has changed, Im still getting requests to pay 'past dues bill. Now they are saying they are going to auction my unit... its empty!!!! WTH Nightmare.

I closed my account today and went in to unlock two spaces that were rented for the longest time. Reason for vacating was I moved into a bigger house where there is lot of storage space. The gentleman manager on the premises Mr. Lee was extremely helpful. His attitude towards his job was particularly impressive and I have no doubt he is a very valuable asset to the business. Should I need to in future either rent storage space or recommend the same to a friend, I will be recommending Mr. Lee and your premises.
