Nice, convenient & clean facility with good staff.
Staff was helpful but paperwork took longer than expected because of new staff training…not his fault but delayed my work day. Then when I arrived the next morning at the agreed upon time, my gate code didn’t work & I could not get access to the facility to unload my truck. I called the after hours number and was told that they would call a manager. We waited about 20 minutes but no call back. I called again and spoke to someone who was, after about 10 minutes, finally able to add my code to the gate system for me to get access. I was told the system had not been updated. I’m not sure why this happened but it caused a series of delays in my work day and that of my friend. I finally got moved in late afternoon. It all worked well at that point. The staff was very apologetic and helpful and did not know why this happened. My suggestion is do not plan to move in when the office staff is not on grounds or be prepared to have to wait if gate access program is not up to date. This was not a disaster but was a big hassle and created a lot of wasted time & stress.

Ken KershnerI rented a unit at Security Public in Redwood City from March 2023 to September 2025, and the move-out process was a nightmare. Twice I was locked out with a red lock even during office hours, with no staff available for nearly an hour. On top of that, they refused to provide a simple prorated refund after charging me extra days — terrible customer service and policies.
