All great until they decided to double my rent from 45$ to taking 95$ out of my bank account without any type of agreement. Not a phone call. Not any signed agreement. Nothing on the contract stating that there might be an increase. I contacted them and all they told me was "we sent you an email.". However, either I never received the email or it got lost in the sauce. Either way, I never agreed to it nor replied to it. They never returned the money to my account. They just deducted it from my next months rent, which ruined my budget for the prior month resulting in late fees from other bills. They never explained the more than double rent increase either. They just set my rent back to the original 45$ that we agreed upon. I would not recommend setting up an auto pay with this company. If you do, you'd better watch them!!!
I had a great experience thanks to Eddie at Prime Storage. He went above and beyond to help us with everything we needed. From the moment we walked in, he was friendly, knowledgeable, and truly cared about making the process smooth and stress-free. Eddie took the time to answer all our questions, walked us through our options, and made sure we felt confident in our decision. It’s rare to find someone who provides this level of customer service these days—he really made a difference. Highly recommend working with Eddie if you’re looking for storage. He’s the best!
Nightmare! Imagine you close a deal for a unit 5x6 with 24 hr access. On following day at night (10pm) you come to your unit after traveling 1h/50 miles, full of boxes. And there you realize your access code is not working! You go to their office and discover they forgot it unlocked with nobody there! And you call their number and realize the supervisor for emergencies do not have access to system at all! And you wait for them to find a solution but they didn’t?! That I had to book a hotel because of that?! That I was unable to access unity and affected my business?! My time!!! My money!! That’s Prime Storage! You discover that the person on office is not there. Nobody is there! But a virtual kiosk! Very unpleasant, because you stand in front of everybody disclosing personal matters! Documents!!! The person who sold me acted as scammer. With intention to get her commission, she lied and did not provided 24hr access as required and promised! And you just discover after you arrive at place out of business hours (my right!). She manipulated me. Sent the agreement with the information as additional to contract. But the following day she sent the contract without the 24hr access. And, as we always are running, I read with her the agreement and signed terms. So you believe that with cameras and a supposed secure place, you are guaranteed on the terms you requested. But don’t! Had to make several calls. Including police (and they don’t care!) . Imagine if I need to take a flight in 2 hours and need my belongings right away! Now imagine if had to brake inside to access my belongings?! I’ve sent emails and calls. Went there personally. Again had to be discussing this matter in a very unpleasant virtual kiosk. With people not integrated in their rules and regulations! I documented everything. Now the entire experience will be sent to my lawyer. Also. Is being registered here. And will be registered on Better Business Bureau and related bureaus. I asked them to pay hotel and meal as sign of respect. They ignored. So, let’s litigate for a learning! Registered on police (at least a call is made, even they lacking on filling a police report). Is it true that the dispatcher (being civil) just have to inform badge number when required? She said she has no obligation to provide her name. Is this true?! Weird! Disputed at bank. I suggest you to be mindful about this mess they are before you use their services. This company disrespected a wrong person. English is not my main language. My lawyer speaks better. The company answered with pattern copy and paste. But in reality, they don’t care. I suggest everybody to stay away of this place. Unprofessional and disrespectful. They have all my data. I no need to reach them. I’ll escalate to formal bureaus.
Went in to find out pricing on a unit and had the pleasure of meeting with the GM of the property, Eddie. He was VERY helpful and answered all my questions to 100% a satisfaction. He had a great attitude and was very pleasant to work with. He was very knowledgeable and was patient taking his time explaining the policies and procedures. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE and a pleasure to work with! I WILL BE recommending this facility to all my family and friends in Poway!
I have rented office space from Prime Storage for for at least 2 years. Eddie makes sure the property is clean, and handle issues within the suites as they arrise. My electrical went out and he was on the problem instantly, and it was fixed within a short time. Eddie is a doer, an made sure I was able to to work during the down time process. I just wanted Eddie to know we all notice what a great job he does and thank you.
