Very nice
Clean climate controlled space with good height.
Great location
Old Barn is pretty central in Grass Valley and super convenient to swing by while Iﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢m out and about. Itﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢s clean, easy to access, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I like that the gate access hours start early in the morning and stay open pretty late.

I ended up in the wrong place accidently, but Kacey was a great sales person and reeled me in to stay there. Even though it's more expensive than where I was going, I chose to stay and rent a larger spot than originally planned as I felt my work inventory was in good hands. I need another unit for my personal items, any chance of getting a good deal for the first 3 months? I was in escrow when Paradise burned and my house had sold already, my stuff needs to get out of Sacramento where it landed after the fire. Just looking for a little extra help, if possible. I need it closer so I can go through and get rid of things. Doesn't hurt to ask, right? :) Thanks! have a great day!
Clean and easy access
So far I like the facility and it was extremely clean. Staff was well infighting and helpful.

Very unprofessional, not secured or worth money paid for. Left my trust in a place that is careless when they seen my storage had been broken into didn't think to close it. Nor did they care enough too secure it. They did not call law enforcement to report it. My unit was robbed for the money my mother passing away left me and I stupidly enough thought it was safe in there. That being the only thing taken the facility seen it had been open and didn't close it. Supposedly because they didn't want to shut anyone in there. EVEN though, my truck and self hadn't been there and there was no room for anyone to even stand inside of it. Little did I know, they (whoever stole it) cut a tiny square of the locking mechanism of the unit itself. My heart hurts knowing 💔 that this 236$ dollars a month for a 10×10ft. Storage unit wasn't worth my hard enough money. I'll think twice before ever assuming that other people will do what's right. Nine times outta ten if it doesn't effect them they wouldn't do such a thing.
Penelope AndersonI had originally left a 5 star review, because the staff is friendly and I assumed our things would be safe in storage there. I have now deleted that review and am leaving this one, after going to remove our items for the move into a new house….and finding our unit infested with rats. Everything covered with rat droppings, rat hair all over the floor amidst the droppings, expensive wood furniture gnawed on and ruined, rat droppings and nests inside boxes, and the contents of boxes destroyed. Old Barn management takes no responsibility or liability for this infestation or any damage, even though we discovered a section of the weather stripping at the bottom of the door was missing, and this is apparently how the rats got in. Heartbreaking. Prior to this incident, we had to move from another storage unit, same facility, due to water leaking in, either from rain or from a pipe in the sprinkler system leaking. We should have understood then that these units are not being assessed for integrity or maintained properly. Fair warning, DO NOT STORE YOUR POSSESSIONS AT THIS FACILITY!!! UNLESS YOU DON’T MIND THEM BEING DAMAGED AND DESTROYED.
Hef LeeCalled many times during office hours, no answer. Bathroom that is supposed to be available on site was locked with no one inside. Phone app to open gate and pay is clunky. So far pretty disappointing. There’s gotta be someone available during posted hours at a business where you’re paying for service. Basic.
LISA ANDREA BANKS (ANDI)It's the best storage around. Clean, reasonably priced and super convenient. There are times that I don't get off of work until 7pm, of all the other storage facilities close at that time, but the Old Barn stays open until 11pm, I LOVE THAT!
